 Mission

The Vocational College of Machinery and Irrigation (VCMI) is a public vocational education institution under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
The College provides high-quality, multi-disciplinary, and multi-level training, following the Green Vocational Education model, closely aligned with enterprise needs and approaching the training standards of ASEAN-4 and G20 countries.

VCMI conducts applied scientific and technological research, integrates modern technologies into teaching and production, and transfers technical advances to industries. The College contributes to improving the quality of human resources in the agriculture and rural development sector, and promotes socio-economic development in Dong Nai Province and the Southeast Region.
It operates a modern governance system, fosters institutional autonomy, and ensures effective and sustainable operations.

Vision

Phase 2021–2025:
VCMI aims to become a high-quality vocational college offering multi-disciplinary and multi-level training programs through diverse educational models.
It will serve as a center linking applied research and technology transfer with business production, adapting to the evolving labor market.
The College focuses on strengthening training and scientific research in key fields such as mechanics, electrical–electronic engineering, and mechanization, while expanding into renewable energy and green skills development.

Phase 2026–2030:
VCMI strives to reach international standards and by 2030 to become a “Center for Technical Education and High-Quality Green Vocational Training” recognized for its prestige in Vietnam, ASEAN, and G20 countries.
The College will continue to uphold its brand reputation, expand international partnerships, and maintain equal competitiveness with other leading institutions nationally and globally.
