Announcement of the Appointment Decision for the Vice Rector of the College of Machinery and Irrigation

On the morning of June 14, 2022, the College of Machinery and Irrigation held a ceremony to announce and present the appointment decision for the position of Vice Rector to Mr. Phạm Duy Đông.

Authorized by the Minister, Mr. Nguyễn Văn Chương, Party Secretary and Rector of the college, announced Decision No. 1986/QĐ-BNN-TCCB dated June 02, 2022, issued by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, appointing Mr. Phạm Duy Đông, Head of the Training Department of the College of Machinery and Irrigation, to the position of Vice Rector effective from the date the decision was signed.

Mr. Nguyễn Văn Chương, Party Secretary and Rector of the college, presented the Appointment Decision to Mr. Phạm Duy Đông.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyễn Văn Chương congratulated Mr. Phạm Duy Đông on being entrusted by the higher authority with this new leadership position. He also assigned tasks and expressed his hope that, in his new role, Mr. Phạm Duy Đông would continue to demonstrate his bravery, intellect, and competence; unite with the Board of Rectors; and work together with all staff and employees to excellently fulfill the college’s political missions, further advance the institution’s development, and contribute to the progress of the agricultural sector, rural development, the local community, and society as a whole.

Mr. Nguyễn Văn Chương, Party Secretary and Rector of the college, delivered a congratulatory speech and assigned tasks to the newly appointed Vice Rector.

Mr. Phạm Duy Đông was born in 1979 and holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Manufacturing as well as an advanced degree in political theory. He previously served as Head of the Training Department at the College of Machinery and Irrigation.

Having devoted 20 years to the college, Mr. Phạm Duy Đông emotionally expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the senior leaders, the Party Committee, the Board of Rectors, and the entire staff and employees of the college for their trust and confidence.

He pledged to devote his full capability, enthusiasm, and sense of responsibility, and—together with the college’s leadership team—continue to build upon past achievements, inherit the valuable experience of former leaders, maintain stability, and further develop the college, living up to the expectations of the higher authorities.
